It's impossible to find things for people.
No one gives you hints! And I'm not creative enough to find something on my own!
Yes, I've had ideas, and please, censor your comments in case I actually go with one of them.
But do you ever get frustrated with what to buy for people?!?!?!?!?

i have a similar but different beef with Christmas...and its that i don't like buying gifts for people on specific days, i prefer to give them early or late...i dunno why but it seems so cliche to give it on the day.
Other than that i really enjoy the shopping bit

Terrin I will give you a list of the things I want for Christmas if you come by room 205! If you don't remember how to get there. Leave your room and take a right, it's the first door on the right! You can just come in!! Don't even bother knocking, knocking is over rated!

I'm sensing no one helping terrin in this regard. terrin, there are a few fall back classics as follows:
1) Pot of gold
2) Movie (batman begins comes to mind)
3) CD (though genre and what they already have are tough)
4) For the girls: Makeup
5) for the guys: paper bags
6) if they dig sports, buy a jersey for them
7) autographed memorabelia from ebay of their favorite whatever is always a way to get in their pant---uh....good books
8) Money is always good but kinda tasteless....
9) everyone likes coffee, so coffee anything is always a good idea.

thanks for that sexist comment Brett. For the girls makeup?? Yah that's all I ever do... look in the mirror and apply makeup! It's true that I have no other interests like books or socks or stationary for writing or an iPod holder or...whatever this is turning into a rant!! lol.

that's fine, it's nice to not be chewed out by someone for something I wrote that obviously wasn't directed towards them. It's not a generalization, a mere guideline. Just because YOU dont wear makeup, doesnt make you the norm.
And for the record, if you were allergic to chocolate, does that mean you'd chew me out for that? Didn't think so. Get off your soapbox ;)
